الصَّمْتُ زَيْنُ الصَّائِمِ وَعِبَادَةُ الصَّامِتِ
"Silence is the adornment of the fasting person and the worship of the silent one. Do not dishonour yourself by making your tongue a vessel for sin."
الْعِلْمُ سِلَاحٌ وَأَصْلُهُ الْعَقْلُ
"Knowledge is a weapon whose root is the intellect. Acquire it, for it is the means of knowing your duty toward Allah and the companion of the believer in every hardship."
الْإِيمَانُ مَعْرِفَةٌ بِالْقَلْبِ وَإِقْرَارٌ بِاللِّسَانِ وَعَمَلٌ بِالْأَرْكَانِ
"Faith is knowing with the heart, confessing with the tongue, and acting with the limbs. It is these three together that make a believer complete."
إِنَّا غَيْرُ مُهْمِلِينَ لِمُرَاعَاتِكُمْ وَلَا نَاسِينَ لِذِكْرِكُمْ
"Surely, we are neither neglectful of your situation nor forgetful of your remembrance. Were it not so, calamity would descend upon you and your enemies would destroy you."
